-Killed dozens of beachgoers over all three films
-Gained back free will for itself from Blue Water after its control collar was destroyed
-Fought the Pteracuda to a standstill, and likely might’ve won had the battle not been interrupted
-Fought the Whalewolf, though was defeated due to outside interference
-Killed Conan O’Brien in the most brutal manner possible
-Is one of the more memorable monsters of Syfy’s creature catalog
Strength:
(Small Building Level)
-Can easily throw humans dozens of feet like ragdolls
-Commonly chomps people to bits
-Bit through a wooden coffin
-Easily rips people apart with its tendrils
-The spikes on the end of its tentacles allow it to slice and stab through people with ease
--These spikes also stabbed through the bulletproof hide of the Pteracuda, which shrugged off numerous assault rifle rounds
--Can also damage the Whalewolf’s bulletproof skin, which tanks pistol rounds and shotgun blasts
-Able to easily restrain and lift a likely 1.8 metric ton great white shark out of the ocean with ease
-Can rock and knock motorboats off course just by bumping into them
-Was easily able to pick up and drag around a smaller car with just a few tentacles
--This would still weigh 1.3 metric tons
-Casually cracked a 4 to 5 ton sailboat into pieces with its weight alone
-Able to match the Pteracuda, which has several strength feats of its own:
--Slammed into a car with enough speed to blow it up
--Smashed through the roof of a military base, leaving a massive hole in what was over a foot of concrete
--Knocked a helicopter out of the air
--Bit through the engine of a mid sized plane and rocked it just by latching onto it
---Planes of this size should weigh around 9 tons
-Lifted the Pteracuda, which was bigger than the plane mentioned above, meaning it likely weighed roughly 9 tons as well
-Threw Pteracuda with enough force to send it flying dozens of meters away into a lighthouse, which snapped in half on impact
-Can pick up and throw the Whalewolf dozens of meters
--Given it’s a hybrid between a wolf and an orca, this means it’d likely weigh over 3 tons
-Able to fight and damage the Whalewolf as well, which took an airstrike to kill
Speed/Agility
(Subsonic)
-Can keep pace with various types of speeding motorboats, most of which can go up to 90 mph (144 kmph)
-Swam from California (Likely San Diego) to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in less than a week
--This trip is roughly 2,400 km
-Can keep up with the Pteracuda, which has an airspeed of 200 mph (320 kmph)
--Its swimming speed is never stated, but it’s likely similar to this
-Able to fight with the Whalewolf, which can chase down cars
--The Whalewolf should move faster than a normal wolf, which can clock in speeds over 40 kmph
-Was able to cross halfway over a baseball field in less than a second
--This was around 200 or so feet, so assuming it keeps up this rate at even 200 feet per second, that means its land speed is 200 kmph, at least in short bursts
-Despite its great size, is quite agile
-Is able to jump dozens of feet into the air with ease
--Leapt up and caught a bungee jumper
-Is able to climb objects like buildings and pillars
Durability
(Small Building Level+, likely up to Building Level):
-Shrugged off getting rammed into by a speed boat
-Didn’t get hurt when speared by a tranquilizer harpoon and just yanked it out of its skin
-Able to endure gunfire from pistols and submachine guns, with bullets bouncing off its rough hide
-Endured having a neural implant drilled into its brain and ripped out shortly afterwards
-Was lifted hundreds of feet into the clouds by the Pteracuda before being dropped back to the ocean, which would’ve been like concrete on impact
-Can endure blows from Pteracuda, which as mentioned above can smash through walls of concrete, rip through a plane’s engine, and blow up cars with its strikes
-Can fight on even when it’s missing some of its tentacles
--Endured the pain from having one or two ripped off by Pteracuda
--Another time had one sliced off with an automatic bread knife
-Can endure the bite force of the Whalewolf, which should be higher than a regular orca’s 19,000 psi bite
-Shrugged off getting used like a punching bag from Whalewolf, which can bust down wooden doors without effort
-Can shrug off gas-filled barrels exploding right next to it
-Shrugged off a point-blank explosion that was big enough to launch water several feet into the air and create a shockwave that extended out dozens of meters
--This same blast also blew Pteracuda to bits, sending chunks of it flying dozens of meters out of the water from the sheer force of the explosion
--The bomb’s creator said that “nothing on Earth” could’ve survived the blast
Intelligence/Mentality
(Average Human Level):
-By the third film, is stated to be at least over 6 months old
-While being created, its serotonin was altered to turn the beast into a rage-fueled killer, causing it to attack unprovoked
-Was smart enough to remove a collar that was controlling it
-Was apparently intelligent enough to realize that humans were trying to chum the waters to ambush it
-Is stated by a biologist and animal trainer to be smarter than a dolphin and most primates
-Is able to understand at the least, basic words and pictographs, plus the meanings behind them
-Despite its nature as a beast, as shown at least a few moments of personality
-Ate a Dominican flag to spite the Whalewolf
-Picked its teeth clean after eating a human head
-Knows what a handshake is
--Or rather, tentacleshake
-Stopped for a moment to toy with its victim by pointing out where he was on a map
-Has a… Twitter account
Abilities:
Unique Physiology:
-Due to having the front portion of a shark and hind portion of an octopus, the Sharktopus keeps many abilities both would have
-Senses electrical impulses like a regular shark, helping it navigate
-Can smell blood from hundreds of meters away
-Able to produce ink to confuse opponents like an octopus
-Is actually able to survive in both fresh and saltwater, despite both sections of it coming from sea-dwelling animals
-Its tentacles have suction cups, letting it grip onto prey and surfaces easier
--These suction cups are strong enough to rip chunks of flesh off of a woman’s face
-The Sharktopus’ tentacles end in spikes, letting it stab and slice into its targets
--These spikes also likely give it better grip when walking on land
-Has a higher metabolism than a typical shark, making tranqs strong enough to take down bull sharks barely slow it
-Took an entire bucket of chlorine being dumped into its pool to sedate it
-Ate inanimate objects, like a Dominican flag, without issue
-Can burp
-After its second demise, was reborn due to voodoo magic
--Unknown as of yet if this ever gave it supernatural properties
Semi-Aquatic Nature:
-Despite being made up of two aquatic animals, is able to spend a decent amount of time out of the water
--Chased a man around a mall and into a baseball stadium without needing to resubmerge itself
-Is able to slither along the ground or walk on its tentacle tips
--Can use its fins to help push itself along the ground if needed
Weaknesses:
-If it were to lose all of its tentacles, it’d be basically helpless
-Can be mind controlled, either via a neural implant or… by voodoo magic
-Has explosives planted inside of its head which are enough to blow it to bits
--Future Sharktopuses don’t have this weakness
-Was actually defeated by the Whalewolf due to outside interference after being thrown into a high-powered, electrified chain link net
