SBS: Ed VS Hugo Andore (PRELUDE)

Updated: Aug 28, 2021

Mettaton: In most scenarios, a group would need different types of members in order to get what they want. The most notable of these are the big strong heavy lifters!~

UL: Indeed, the not-so bright muscle man makes the whole group come together as they display fearsome strength that allows them to be viable for tasks that no one else on the team is capable of and it serves as good intimidation.

Mettaton: However, beneath those muscles and inhumane strength lays a total sweetheart that you just wanna hug!~

UL: But diss the things they want or try to hurt their friends and may god have mercy on you.

Mettaton: Ed, The Lover of Chickens and Muscle of the Eds!

UL: And Hugo Andore, The Lover of Potatoes and Ex-Mad Gear member who strives to be number one!~

Mettaton: Hello all you beauties out there! I'm Mettaton!~

UL: And I'm the Unemployed Loser!

Mettaton: And join us as we analyze these two warrior's strengths and weaknesses to see who is the true superstar!~

UL: LET'S HIT IT!

BACKSTORY:

While Ed's overall childhood was relatively unknown, what is known is that he lives in a household with his bratty sister Sarah, a strict and naggy mother who favored Sarah over Ed, and a lazy and apathetic couch potato of a father. However, despite living in such a sour household, Ed still maintained a positive attitude with a passionate love for chickens, gravy, buttertoast, and monster movies.

Ed's life would change during his todler years as he would meet two other children that shared his name, Eddward (AKA Double D) and Eddy. The three would become good friends as they would devise inane schemes to obtain money for their favorite sugary treat, Jawbreakers!

Despite not being the brightest of the bunch and having to put up with his bratty sister, Ed will always be laughing and smiling. Enjoying life with his two bestest of pals along with him! Physicality & Abilities:

Strength - Undisputedly the strongest member of the Eds. - Stronger than Eddy and Edd combined, having easily put them both in a headlock. - Can run at full speed while carrying the combined weight of Edd, Eddy, and a whole car. - Casually lifted entire houses over his head, even as a toddler. Houses can weigh between 80,000 to 160,000 lbs. (40 to 80 tons). - Lifted and thrown heavy objects such as ovens, refrigerators, and trailers. - Kicked the trunk of a tree hard enough to shake it. - Leaped several times his own height. - Flipped an entire garage upside-down with no apparent difficulty. - Launched manure across the whole Cul-de-Sac with a shovel. - Uprooted and carried a fully grown tree over his head. - Pulled down several streetlights in the Cul-de-Sac by hauling up a metal cord with his tongue. - Resisted being pulled by Kevin, Rolf, and Eddy all at once. - Struck an oven hard enough to shake an entire house. - His teeth can easily shred through metal pipes. - Broke the support beam to an entire house while tied up. - Frequently smashes through walls and fences with ease. - Pulled a tree down into the ground with his bare hands. - Easily lifted and carried a boulder bigger than himself. - Used his jacket to grab and toss Eddy wearing an iron stove several hundred feet away. - Punched Kevin in the face hard enough to give him a black eye. - Dented and knocked down a metal garage door. - Ripped an entire driveway out of the ground with his bare hands. - Rolled up a sidewalk by hitting it with his belly. - Can dig his fingernails through a tree stump. - Lifted and thrown trees and playground sets with his teeth. - Sneezed hard enough to bring down a chimney and blow away a large sphinx made of cardboard boxes. - Can lift a whole chimney and drag it through the inside of his house. - Tore a stop sign out of the ground and used it as a weapon. - Climbed up a cliff while carrying Eddy and Double D. - Effortlessly lifted and thrown a car with one hand. - His stomach growling is enough to cause a small-scale earthquake. - Spun an entire ferris wheel with his legs alone. - Can disintegrate wooden barriers with a helmet-reinforced headbutt. - Can damage and take down sewer crocodiles just by headbutting them. - Can crush rocks with his head. - Can damage enemies by jumping on top of them. - As Edzilla, bended swing sets into the shape of chickens and overpowered Rolf with ease. - As Lothar, has beaten up and defeated all of the other Cul-de-Sac kids (sans Jonny) including Kevin, Sarah, and Rolf. - Comparable to the Kanker Sisters, who are strong enough to destroy houses and cause massive fissures during a hissy fit. - Comparable to, if not stronger than, Rolf who can uproot a large tree and pushed his own house across the ground. - Stronger than Sarah, who can knock down trees and easily lift a car over her head. - Stronger than Kevin, who can lift half of a trailer while Eddy and Double D were pushing on the opposite side. - Stronger than Jonny, who can peel off metal panels on a trailer's roof. - Stronger than Eddy, who can casually lift and smash Double D's bed on top of him. - Stronger than Nazz, who threw Kevin's bike against a tree hard enough to dent it. - Far stronger than Edd, who can carry a refrigerator on his back. - Far stronger than Jimmy, who beat Edd to a pulp with his bare hands while in a fit of rage.

Speed & Agility

- Can keep up with Eddy and Double D.

- Can run fast enough to build up dust clouds.

- Fast enough to appear as a blur.

- Outran a swarm of angry honey bees, which can fly up to 20 mph.

- Outpaced Eddy and Jimmy, who are fast enough to run on walls and ceilings.

- Caught and intercepted several falling objects in his house.

- Outran Kevin's bike, which is fast enough to leave behind a 32-foot-long skid mark, which means it could travel up to 25.87 mph.

- Can spin in water fast enough to create a small whirlpool.

- Capable of scaling down walls.

- Kept up with a school bus on foot, which can go up to 55 mph.

- Temporarily outran a group of vengeful Cul-de-Sac kids while carrying a whole car with Eddy and Double D in it.

- Can double jump into the air.

- Using Batter-Ed, Ed was able to surpass the speed of Kevin's bike and beat it in a race.

- Comparable to Sarah and Jimmy, who ran out of the way as the Eds were falling from space within mere seconds.

- Comparable to Jonny, who somehow went from China all the way back to Peach Creek within a day.

Durability & Endurance

- Has the highest durability and pain tolerance out of the Eds.

- Survived being stung by a swarm of honey bees.

- Survived being frozen in ice.

- Survived a fall from outer space without any injury.

- Was crushed by a tower of wood meant to build a clubhouse and came out just fine.

- Got rammed in the behind by Victor the Goat twice and was fine both times.

- Ate a piece of a cactus (spines and all) with no ill-effects.

- Shrugged off having his feet smashed by Eddy's mallet and being crushed by a cement block.

- His loose tooth was able to support his and Eddy's weight while being hanged by a nylon jumping rope.

- Tanked an explosion capable of destroying a house from point-blank range with no visible injuries.

- Survived brutal beatings from the Cul-de-Sac kids on a daily basis.

- Survived being crushed by a flying trailer.

- Unharmed from being inside of a collapsing house.

- Endured getting three giant clothespins clamped to his head by Eddy.

- Literally shattered like glass by Nazz's singing and is still alive.

- Survived being crushed and flattened by a steamroller.

- Survived a beating from Sarah that was intense enough to shake and lift their entire house off the ground.

- Implied to have survived a fall from the moon to the Earth.

- Withstood being in the center of heat waves capable of completely melting snow for a several dozen feet radius.

- Survived falling down like a meteor with enough force to move the clouds and create shockwaves that span across the whole Cul-de-Sac.

- Tanked getting struck upside the head several times by Rolf's cane.

- Unfazed from getting tortured by Rolf for an entire night.

- Survived having his face ripped off.

- Scales to Eddy, who survived having a hole gnawed through his stomach.

- Scales to Edd, who survived being crushed by the Peach Creek school building.

- Scales to Rolf, who survived being stabbed in the eye by a spatula.

- Scales to Jonny, who survived a severe beating from an enraged Sarah, Kevin, Rolf, and Nazz all at once.

- Should be at least comparable to the other Cul-de-Sac kids, who survived being inside of a collapsing school.

Stamina

- Has the most stamina out of the Eds.

- When being chased by Eddy, Ed managed to outrun him long enough for Eddy to get tired and catch his breath, while Ed himself was still running.

- Can stay up overnight without feeling tired, even when upside-down and being dipped into oatmeal head-first repeatedly.

- Is the only Ed to have stayed awake for an entire night and not feel tired afterwards.

Toon Force - Can stretch and contort his body to inhuman extents. - Can pull out objects he needs out of nowhere or from spaces too small to carry them (such as his pocket). - Any injury he sustains, no matter how severe, is usually gone by the next scene (not always, though). - Can fit through and inside very tight spaces. - His tongue is much larger/longer than what is humanly possible, easily reaching over several meters. It can also be used as a rope. - Had his arms twisted like a propeller fast enough to push his body backwards. - Turned into a newspaper by jumping into the Newspaper Shooter. - Can momentarily float in mid-air by not paying attention to gravity or just not jumping. - Can enter and exit cartoon shows through a TV. - Used a pair of underwear as a parachute to glide through the air. - Despite eating all of the food in the Cul-de-Sac, Ed returned to his normal size and shape in the next episode with no explanations. - Used his lips as a rotor to increase a boat's speed. - Can haul up his tongue like a crank. - His feet swelled to massive size after being hit by a mallet, but returned to normal size after stepping into a large puddle of water. - Stuck a large bone through both of his ears. - Disguised himself as a cave painting by covering himself in paint. - Grabbed a cloud and caused it deflate like a balloon, and re-inflated it like by blowing air into it. - Can retract his head like a turtle. - Fused his eyes together to look like a cyclops. - Can mold himself and other people into different objects such as balls, baseball bats, and mallets. - Balanced a tractor perfectly on top of a chicken egg. - Used his unibrow to walk across the ground upside-down. - Can sink and swim in a wet cement pool that's only a few inches deep. - Pulled the key chain in Eddy's pants to cause his hairs to rotate like a helicopter blade, allowing him to fly. - Outweighed a refrigerator by sitting on a teeter-totter. - Shattered like a glass vase after hearing Nazz's singing. - His mouth can be zipped shut. - He and his friends disguised themselves as a cow by combining their shadows to resemble the silhouette of one. - Built an elevator that is tall enough to reach the moon out of inappropriate materials (such as ladders and a microwave). - Took out Jonny's eyes and placed them on a wax dummy without any harm done to them. - Literally melted into a puddle twice. - Cried enough tears for Edd to use an umbrella to shield himself and Eddy. - Can still talk through his face after it got torn off. - At one point, the Eds literally hit the sky and caused it to crack apart like glass. - Can enter through a door that was lying flat against the ground. - Eddy muted his voice by turning his eye like a volume dial. - Should scale to Double D, who survived being disintegrated.

Fourth Wall Breaking

- Often shown to be aware he's in a cartoon show.

- Sometimes lampshades the show's art-style and plot.

- Is aware of flashbacks happening.

Static Electricity

- Magnetically attached Eddy to a metal garage door by rubbing him quickly against his head.

- With the aid of Edd's slippers, Ed can build up so much static electricity in his body that he starts attracting objects towards him like a magnet and, upon touching something, a giant electrical explosion capable of destroying an entire house is made.

Can survive in outer space

- Has entered outer space twice with no ill-effects.

Duplication

- Ed can somehow duplicate himself into two, allowing him to grab bigger objects and be in two places at once.

Digging

- Ed is capable of easily digging through the ground with his bare hands.

- Can be used to find or bury objects. - Dug through the cafeteria floor to escape from getting "beaten up" by Edd.

Loud Scream - Can scream so loud, that the force behind his voice alone caused Edd to faint and tore off Eddy's shirt.

Enhanced Senses - Can track Eddy down from far distances by smelling his cologne. - Can somehow sense the other Cul-de-Sac kids coming over to get their revenge on the Eds in the "Boo Haw Haw" special. - Can track and follow the scent of a pie across the gym by smell alone.

Time Travel - In the episode "Every Which Way But Ed", the Eds are capable of traveling through different points in time by entering through flashbacks made by themselves or other people. - Ed can also rewind time by just by running. Running too fast, however, caused him to uncontrollably rewind him and the other Eds back to when they were toddlers.

Flight - By rapidly flapping his arms as though they're wings, Ed is capable of flying and levitating above the ground. - Can fly over a house while carrying Eddy.

Invisibility - At one point, Ed turned invisible to hide within the school locker room. - Only seems to do it when he's naked. - Used to steal Kevin's tracksuit.

Appetite

- Can eat both edible and inedible objects.

- Once ate nearly the entire Cul-de-Sac of its food.

- Sucked in a swimming pool worth of gelatin.

- Sucked and ate the gutter in a drainpipe without any ill-effects.

- Once ate and swallowed an entire bathroom sink.

- Has no problems with eating crayons as though are actual foods.

- Completely swallowed and devoured his own mattress.

- Ate a row of jujubes along with the ground they were on.

- Swallowed an entire log without ill-effects.

Horrible Odor

- His shoe alone smells bad enough to knock Rolf unconscious.

- Flies are attracted to him because of his horrible stench.

- His lunch bag and gym bag also have terrible smell.

- As a product of his horrible stench, Ed has far greater resistance/tolerance to horrible smells than most other people.

Intelligence - Has vast knowledge concerning movies and comic books, particularly those coming from horror, supernatural, and sci-fi genres. - Occasionally shown to be surprisingly clever and more talented than he lets on (though, these moments are very few and far between). - Due to his comic book collection, Ed has deep knowledge concerning aliens and possibly other monsters. - Sometimes acknowledges that he messes up some of the Eds' scams and goals, showing some level of self-awareness. - Gave a very detailed summary of the plot of Robot Rebel Ranch, a movie he hasn't seen before. - Came up with the idea of making loud, funny noises when pretending to be the Mucky Boys (which Eddy replies with "Ed, you've found a brain!"). - Noted that the rocket car he and Double D built was too small (which Double D soon found out to be true). - Done an accurate impression of both Eddy and Plank. - Gave an intelligent statement about how difficult it is to deal with girls, using advanced words such as "mentally disorientating" and "physically confusing" (and then promptly goes back to his usual idiotic self). - Created an exact copy of Double D's parents' sticky notes to such an extent, that Double D himself couldn't tell the difference. - Convinced Eddy to let him come up with a scam by fake crying (which he learned from Sarah). - Is the first one to figure out how the offender framed the Eds in "If It Smells Like an Ed", but not enough to know who did it. - Fairly good at drawing pictures. - Built an elevator that goes all the way up to the moon by himself. - When Eddy was undergoing scammers block, Ed suggested that he should buy a scam idea (which Double D noted to be a viable strategy). - Convinced Jonny to offer him and the other Eds directions while thinking that he's a spider creature (because he was hallucinating from watching too many monster films), showing that he's skilled in negotiation. - Smart enough to read a map (at least while using his spit to paste it against his head). - Spelled the words "ectoplasm" and "gravy" correctly during the spelling bee. - In the finale, instead of confronting Eddy's Brother directly, Ed chooses to unhinge the door Eddy was holding on to, allowing it to launch towards Eddy's Brother's face and knocking him unconscious.

Stupidity

- Is the dumbest and slow-witted of the Eds.

- Once mistaken a phonograph record for a doughnut.

- Mistaken his own stomach growling for a werewolf howling (though, it does give disturbingly loud growling noises).

- Thinks his sister is a "good speller", just because she spelled her and Double D's names correctly.

- Forgot the Hypnotizing Wheel doesn't work unless he spins it first, until Eddy reminded him.

- The only words he spelled correctly onscreen were "ectoplasm" (because of his love for movies and comic books) and "gravy" (because it's his favorite food along with buttered toast).

- Thought the best option to hide a key would be to eat it (and thus trap him and his friends inside of a shed).

- Put a sign on a garage upside-down (which he fixes by flipping said garage).

- Thought a cow's spots were dirt spots.

- Destroyed the Eds' supply of eggs because he was too distracted by a popsicle.

- When the Eds disguised themselves to approach the Kankers, Ed randomly exposes himself, forcing the Eds to run away empty-handed.

- Tore an egg open, thinking there was a chicken inside, after the Eds traded various items for it.

- Continued ringing Double D's doorbell even after he opened the door to his house.

- Thought that Victor ate Sarah, even though she was clearly yelling outside of the goat.

- Still continued to act like a Mucky Boy even after everyone saw through the charade (because he accidentally revealed the truth to Sarah).

- Thought he had a tarantula on his face when Eddy actually told him he had a hammer stuck to his face.

- Thought that lasagna is a major human organ.

- Genuinely believed that Double D was a mad scientist who turned himself into a lizardman and the other kids into insects because of an obviously false story Eddy made up.

- Mistaken a mere painting made by Eddy for a real jawbreaker.

- Didn't even recognize his own house key.

- Thinks that it's Christmas in the middle of July.

- Was tricked by Double D into thinking that a bag was "attacking" him.

- It literally took an entire night for him to realize that 2 Slovak Jawbreakers aren't enough to feed both him and his friends.

- Once served himself as Jonny's restaurant order instead of an actual turkey.

- Accidentally glued his own head against a table.

- Believes that babies come from storks (and "proves" it by dropping Eddy down a chimney).

- Mistakes a cane for an umbrella.

- Was fooled by Eddy's disguises as different children, despite Eddy changing right in front of him.

Special Attack:

- Whenever Ed hits or gets hit by enemies, a special attack gauge fills up, allowing him to use a powerful attack when it's full.

- Ed sneezes to damage and knock out all enemies near him.

- Can be activated manually by rubbing his nose.

Weapons & Equipment:

Jacket

- Ed's trademark green jacket.

- Has enough space to hold two kids inside.

- Can be used to hold and carry objects, such as a shovel.

- Can latch on objects and swing them around like a rope.

- Can act as a refrigerator to contain food.

- Contains a mustard with a retractable pencil.

Flashlight

- A portable handheld electric light used to light up dark areas.

- Can potentially blind a person by aiming straight for their eyes.

- Ed carries up to 2 of them.

Shovel

- Used to dig, lift, and move bulk materials such as soil, coal, gravel, snow, sand, ore, etc.

- Used to dig through the ground or launch objects across the neighborhood.

- Can potentially be used as a melee weapon.

Baseball Bat

- A wooden club designed to hit baseballs after they are thrown.

- Can be used as a bludgeon weapon.

Bike

- A Schwinn Stingray bicycle used for when Ed needs to travel at higher speeds and longer distances.

- Has enough room for all three Eds to ride on.

Space Outlaw Armor

- A suit of armor made of random stuff found in a junkyard.

- Has a blender cap for a helmet, and a wheel rim as torso armor.

Jackhammer

- A tool that combines a hammer directly with a chisel, operates by driving an internal hammer up and down repeatedly, causing the chisel to break a hard surface.

- Capable of breaking rock, pavement, and concrete.

- Can be used to hop across the ground like a pogo stick.

Helmet

- Allows Ed to bust open breakable platforms and doorways with a headbutt, creating new passages for the Eds.

- Can likely double as head protection.

Water Balloons

- Thrown at targets to splash them with water. Has one particularly large one that can be thrown by Ed.

- The Eds apparently have terrible aim when using these, as they failed to hit the Kankers despite throwing dozens of them.

Wagon

- Used to carry important objects or items with him.

- Can support the weight of a tower of newspapers that even Ed has difficulty pulling.

- Can also be used to carry Eddy and Double D, with Ed himself pushing/pulling it.

Body Heat Seeking Goggles

- Customized goggles that Double D created to see heat signatures through walls.

- Can also double as x-ray goggles that allows the user to see through/into objects.

Hypnotizing Wheel

- A strange object that hypnotizes people by spinning the wheel while they look at it.

- Afterwards, the user can ask them to act like whatever they want to them to be or do (ei. ballerina, monkey, dogs, zombie, etc.).

- The victims can return to normal by having the user snap their fingers.

- Doesn't work on people with some form of eye protection (such as their hair).

Allergenic Containment Center

- Designed to protect Ed from his allergic reactions (and possibly other diseases).

- Composed of a cardboard box, work boots, and surgical gloves.

- Has a small rectangular hole where Ed's eyes should be to enable him to see.

Push Mower

- An old cylinder (reel) mower with fixed cutting blades used to cut grass.

- Ed can push it so quickly, that it causes grass to fly through the air like raindrops.

Double-Handle Saw

- A giant saw with handles on both sides, made for two people to use.

Newspaper

- Uses a rolled-up newspaper as a bludgeon weapon to hit a fly out of the air.

- Hits hard enough to hurt Eddy.

Telescope

- Used to see faraway objects.

- Ed doesn't know how to use it properly, as he once looked through it backwards.

Canadian Squirt Guns

- A powerful turkey baster that soaks up liquid and fires it as watery projectiles.

- Has enough force to ricochet off of walls and go through people's ears.

- Ed carries up to 5 of them to fire simultaneously.

- A direct shot is capable of knocking Ed himself off his feet.

Claw

- A simple clothes hanger that Ed uses as a makeshift hook-hand.

- Used to grab Eddy while the latter was using a Jet Pack to fly.

- Has no other function than possibly to make Ed look more intimidating/dramatic.

Grappling Hook Gun

- A hair dryer that shoots out a grappling hook at a target before reeling in the rope until has been tightened completely, allowing the user to use a hook (or in Ed's case, his tongue) to slide across to the target similar to zip-lining.

- Has a range of about a dozen meters.

Jet Pack

- A machine that uses exhaust to enable its user to fly.

- Doesn't seem have to an end to its fuel supply and no time limit for prolonged flight.

- A mechanical failure can result in the exhaust being extremely large and heavy.

Plunger

- A tool used to clear blockages in drains and pipes.

- The suction cup can also be used to pull objects or stick onto something.

- Can be used as a melee weapon, akin to a saber or rapier.

Broom

- Attempted to be used as a simple pole weapon.

Claw Hammer

- A tool used to drive or pull nails out of objects.

- Can be used as a blunt force weapon.

Saw

- A one-handed saw used for cutting wood or other materials.

- Ed can apparently saw fast enough to cut through the air itself.

- Sharp enough to carve through walls.

Edd's Experimental Bubble Gum

- A type of gum created by Double D that is capable of blowing giant bubbles.

- The bubble created is very durable and is capable of supporting the combined weight of Ed, Jonny, Plank, and Eddy while flying.

- It is very difficult to chew, however. Ed is the only one of the Eds who can use it without difficulty.

Mable Syrup

- Used as a sort of super-glue used to trap and restrain victims.

- Someone as strong as Ed can easily break free, however.

Baron O' Beefdip

- A clay model monster that Ed created using his monster kit.

- Has a walkie-talkie taped onto the back that allows Eddy to communicate with Ed (and likely vice-versa).

- Can shoot flames out of its mouth by pulling the string on its back.

Violin

- A musical instrument his mother forced him to practice.

- Ed plays it so terribly that the sound alone hurts people's ears and peels tree bark.

- Emits black musical notes that physically hit people when played.

- Comes with a bow to play the strings.

- Can easily be smashed to bits.

Sheldon

- One of Ed's good luck charm, a rotting piece of cheese kept in his left jacket pocket for 59 days and never threw away.

- Its stench is so horrible, that a fly and a pond full of fish died instantly just by getting near it.

- Capable of disintegrating Double D just by mere contact.

- Has a replacement piece of cheese called "Sheldon Jr.".

Angus

- Ed's other lucky charm besides Sheldon.

- Carried around his neck like a necklace.

- Appears to have the same horrible stench as Sheldon.

Thingamajig - A small gumball machine-like device that shoots out whatever object the user wants with a push of a button. - Can shoot small objects such as boxing glove or mechanical chattering teeth as projectiles. - Can send out furniture such as chairs for comfort.

Onion - Once eaten, allows Ed to give out a horribly bad breath capable of knocking a person out. - Knocked Eddy unconscious with a single yell. - Intended as an anti-girl tool during Valentine's Day.

Spatula - An ordinary spatula used as his weapon of choice as Lothar. - Sharp enough to embed into a tree. - Durable enough to survive being swatted aside by Rolf. - Capable of harming Rolf, who is physically comparable to Ed himself.

Sub-Zero Battlesuit - A suit of armor designed by Double D to protect the wearer against heat vision that "aliens" may have. - Composed of several bags of frozen food. - Can possibly protect Ed from certain heat-based attacks.

Slippers - Light footwear used to gather up static electricity via friction; the more Ed rubs the slippers against the ground (or the wall), the more electricity he builds up. - When gathering enough electricity, Ed is capable of moving across walls and ceilings very quickly. - Eventually, Ed can build up so much static electricity that he starts attracting objects around him like a magnet (even non-metal objects such as papers and wooden tables), and when he touches someone, all the built up electricity he gathered is directly transfers into them, causing a large explosion capable of destroying an entire house.

Flute - A woodwind instrument that Ed can actually play competently, unlike his violin playing. - Animals who hear it will follow Ed around, so long as he plays the flute. - Ed keeps it stored in his head, unless he needs it.

Items:

Jawbreakers

- The most popular and iconic candy in Ed, Edd n Eddy, as well as their prime motivation for scamming kids out of their money.

- Comes in many different flavors.

- About 1 foot (30.48 cm) in diameter.

- Durable enough to withstand being crushed by a refrigerator.

- Due to their size and hardness, they can be used to bludgeon somebody.

- Makes user invincible for a short time after eating one of these and can damage enemies by contact during this duration. Lasts for roughly 15 seconds.

Chunky Puffs

- A popular type of cereal.

- Goes great with milk.

- Fully restores health.

- Only used once, so Ed may need to collect more.

- As Edzilla, Ed can chew a box of chunky puffs up and spit it out on victims, allowing them to stick against walls in an adhesive layer. Not even Rolf and Sarah are strong enough to break through it alone.

Marshmallows

- Restores health by 33.33%

- Once used, Ed needs to find another one to reuse it.

Hot Sauce

- Fills special attack meter.

- Once used, Ed needs to find more in his environment.

Camera

- Damages and knocks out all enemies onscreen with a flash of light.

- Can only be used once, so Ed needs to find another one.

Gold Stopwatch

- A power-up that freezes time and enemies for roughly 7-8 seconds.

- Once used up, Ed can only use it again by finding another one.

Jib:

- An invisible imaginary friend that Ed somehow created/met in "Who Let the Ed In?" after reading a comic book. - Has similar interests and hobbies as Ed (such as love towards chicken). - Strong enough to easily beat up and throw Eddy around like a ball. - Can interact with invisible/imaginary objects. - Likes to fence and spinning around in revolving chairs. - Can apparently only be seen and heard by Ed. Alter-Egos:

Ed-a-pus - Ed's alter-ego in the Eds' "Ed's Swamp Ride" scam - Dresses up as a giant octopus tentacle that seems to move, swim, and grab like a real tentacle. - Has several suction cups used to grab people. - Can swim through sewer water like it's nothing. - Seems only useful in a watery/sewer/swamp-like terrain.

Edzilla - Ed's monster alter-ego. - A costume made for him by Double D so Ed could dress like a monster. However, because of Ed's wild imagination, he believes and acts like he's a real monster. - Increases Ed's size and strength. - Becomes strong enough to bend swing sets into the shape of chickens and headbutt trees hard enough to destroy the clubhouse that was built on it. - Can somehow move his tail and tentacles simultaneously, as though were parts of his body. - Cunning enough to hunt and capture his prey. - Can stick beings to walls by chewing up chunky puffs and spitting them all over people. - Can roar loud enough to be heard across the neighborhood. - Still retains some aspects of his personality, as Double D distracted him with a chicken and was briefly able to talk to him. - Ed can only go back to normal by someone removing his mask.

Lothar - Ed's Halloween costume and viking alter-ego. - Wields a spatula as his primary weapon, though he's not above using environmental weapons (such as a stop sign). - Keeps a steak stashed in his pants to distract opponents during battle. - Due to an unhealthy diet of watching monster/horror movies, Ed hallucinates other people (aside from his friends) as monsters they resemble or depending on which costumes they wear (the Kankers as witches, Jimmy as an alien, Sarah as a vampire, Kevin as a headless horseman, etc.), causing him to violently attack them. - Enabled him to overpower and defeat the likes of Sarah, Kevin and Rolf. - Notably doesn't hold back in a fight, not even against girls (at least so long as they aren't humans), unlike his usual self.

Weaknesses: - Very stupid and clumsy. - Prone to forgetting things. - Afraid of spiders, wigs, broccoli, soap, deodorant, and tall heights. - Allergic to rabbits, eels, and butterscotch. - Refrains from hitting girls because his mom told him to, except as Edzilla or Lothar. - Can be easily swayed by cunning and manipulative people. - Jib can be harmed or trapped by someone creating an "invisible" (imaginary) trap and possibly another imaginary friend of their own. - Prolonged exposure to extreme sunlight can burn his skin (but he doesn't mind the pain very much). - Becomes extremely violent and irritable if there's a pebble in his shoe (but depending on the circumstances, it could actually be an advantage). - Because of his stupidity and overactive imagination, Ed can believe in just about any make-believe story people tell him, even if it's obviously false (such as Eddy telling him that Double D was a lizard man who turned the other cul-de-sac children into insects or Sarah telling him that the sky was falling). - Easily distracted by chickens or buttered toast. - Susceptible to brainwashing and mind control. - Cannot stand being deprived of gravy for too long. - Lets himself get abused by his sister. ("I am Ed! Cheese and Macaroni!")

Born in Germany, Hugo Andore lived with his family on a farm during his childhood. His family thrived off potatoes due to the fact that they were able to perfectly raised and grown in poor soil as Hugo's mother encouraged him to grow big and strong just like the potatoes they raised. Hugo would take his mother's word for it as he strives to become big and strong much like the rest of his family too.

Years later, Hugo would move to the United States of America around the age of twenty alongside his father, brother, uncle, and grandpa where they would begin their career as professional wrestlers. Hugo would find immense success in his wrestling career as he had a perfect streak, easily crushing each and every fighter that dared challenge him. However, Hugo and his family would ultimately resort to living a life of crime by joining the Mad Gear Gang due to poor living conditions.

It was here that Hugo met his best friend, Poison, as the two would prove themselves to be some of the Mad Gear Gang's finest soldiers. However, all would change when three fighters stepped up against all of Mad Gear. Those would include Cody Travers, Guy, and Mayor Mike Hagger, as all three would take down the Mad Gear Gang in a grueling battle to end their reign of chaos and madness.

Hugo and his family were defeated by Mike Haggar during his quest as most of the Andore family went into hiding due to the embarrassing defeat. Eventually, the Mad Gear Gang dissolved and while both Hugo and Poison would try to reshape it, the two gave up and went on their separate ways.

Hugo would then start a new career as a construction worker, however, Poison manged to find him in search of powerful wrestlers in Metro City. It was here that Hugo would ultimately return to ring, now working side by side with Poison, as he vowed to one day defeat Haggar and become number one in the world.

My prediction: While Ed may easily be the more versatile of the two, Hugo easily has better combat experience and smarts. Plus him being able to no-sell hits from Ryu makes him easily more durable than even the moon fall feat from the Eds. I do see Ed's toon force and less conventional abilities giving Hugo some trouble, but he should still be able to muscle through most of it, and Ed being as stupid as he is makes it debatable if he'd even think to resort to it in the first place.
