___

Location: G-Corp Towers

Time: 7:40 PM

__

Standing on the very top of the G-Corp Tower, stood only one person in the center of the helipad as the rain fell onto head and shoulders, his arms crossed and his eyes closed. He appeared to be a middle-aged man with a muscular build, appearing to be of Japanese descent. He had short dark spiky hair and a scar on his left cheek, dressed in a dark violet suit and a black trench coat that protected him from the rain. The very man standing on top of the tower was the G-Corp's CEO, Kazuya Mishima.

Why such a man of great importance was spending his time skulking out here in the rain? Well simply put, he was expecting someone to show up soon. All he needed to do was wait before whoever came to visit would come bursting through the door just to see him. Or rather, flying through the air. Yes, it wasn't long before a large helicopter began to come into Kazuya's view. The chopper quickly began to hover above his building, before a lone figure then looked down at him. Kazuya's eyes opened and he narrowed them at the figure, who jumped from an open door in the side of the helicopter and began falling towards the roof of the G-Corp Tower.

The figure nailed the landing, rising up on his feet revealing to be a blonde-haired young man dressed in a black and orange jacket and dark pants, who appeared to be in his late twenties/early thirties. The man standing before G-Corp's CEO was the new Lightspeed Ranger who had the gall to challenge him, Ryan Mitchell.

"Kazuya Mishima..." He spoke in a cold tone of voice. "After months of tracking, we finally have you."

"Bah, they sent in nothing more than a pawn to defeat me. Pathetic." Kazuya spat. He then looked over the edge of his tower, seeing several Lightspeed vehicles and helicopters surrounding the G-Corp Tower.

"You are under arrest, for threatening not only all of Japan but the entire world as well. Now listen, we have the whole perimeter surrounded. You can either come quietly or I can take you in by force." Ryan said.

"Hmph. You really think I'm willing to surrender myself because a mere boy told me to? As far as I know, I'm not going anywhere..." Kazuya spoke, glaring at Mitchell with a hateful scowl plastered on his face. Ryan kept calm as the two men began to circle each other.

"If that's what you want then you leave me no other option..." Mitchell responded, bringing both his fists up while Kazuya narrowed his eyes and furrowed his brows.

Kazuya and Ryan both made a rush towards each other, reeling both their fists back before colliding with each other. This resulted in a small shockwave that nearly rocked both fighters back but they managed to dig their heels into the ground to keep themselves from flying back. Ryan soon landed the second blow with a fierce jab right into Kazuya's cheek, but surprisingly, the martial artist was able to narrowly avoid the incoming punch as it barely grazed his cheek. The CEO of G-Corp threw a jab of his own, striking Mitchell right in the gut that made him grunt with pain. Kazuya proceeded to knock him back with a palm strike before entering a fierce combo of punches and kicks before ending it with a roundhouse kick to the side. Ryan's body came tumbling several yards back as his opponent merely scoffed at him before clenching his fist.

"Pathetic, you were an idiot to think you could apprehend me!" Kazuya spat before rushing forward, readying himself for another powerful blow. Ryan was able to make a quick recovery as he weaved right out of harm's way before slamming a knee right into the CEO's gut, nearly knocking the wind out of Kazuya.

Ryan then proceeded to deliver another hard kick to Kazuya's face, sending the Mishima heir flying backward. Kazuya growled as he rolled to a stop, landing in a crouched position before he then rushed down Ryan once more. The Lightspeed operative backed up and dodged out of the way of an oncoming punch before Kazuya used the momentum from said punch to swing his body into doing a roundhouse kick. Said kick knocked Ryan upside the head, sending him to the ground with a splash.

While Ryan was down, Kazuya raised a foot and stomped down towards him, however, Ryan rolled out of the way just in time, causing Kazuya's stomp to crack the concrete of the rooftop instead. Kazuya grunted in annoyance, before looking back up towards Ryan, who himself pulled out a strange weapon that looked as if it were a hybrid between an axe and a pistol.

"You'd really bring a weapon to a fistfight? As if it'd make a difference?" Kazuya scoffed with a smirk.

Ryan smiled and took a moment to respond. "...Yeah."

Kazuya then was assaulted with a laser blast to the chest. Said blast sent the Mishima heir flying dozens of feet back before slamming into the wet concrete of the rooftop and skidding to a stop. G-Corp's CEO immediately stood up with his clothing now signed from the laser blast as Ryan took aim once again, this time, however, Kazuya was able to perfectly maneuver out of the way as the gleaming blue beam missed him by just a few inches. Kazuya furrowed his brows before bringing his hand up to his forehead, pressing his index and middle finger against his forehead before a laser beam of his very own was fired right out of his forehead. The Lightspeed Operative's eyes widened with surprise before quickly countering the incoming beam with a blast of his own, resulting in a powerful explosion that could be seen and heard throughout the entire city, forcing Mitchell to quickly cover his eyes from the flames. As the explosion settled down, Ryan looked to see his view clouded by a fog of smoke but wasn't long before...

WHAM!

Kazuya's fist smashed right into the young man's face, knocking him right onto the ground. The Martial Artist glared at his downed opponent before grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and proceeded to jab his fist right into his stomach but the Lightspeed Operative would quickly grab Kazuya by the wrist before the blow could be landed. Ryan then reeled his head back before delivering a powerful head-butt right into his cranium. Kazuya growled before Ryan slammed his foot into the Mishima heir's stomach, making him grunt before finally letting go of the Ranger, who wasted no time in unloading more laser blasts into Kazuya's chest. Each wound up exploding against Kazuya with a shower of sparks and after each laser blast, he was forced a few steps back.

"AUGH!' The lasers burned several holes in Kazuya's suit as Ryan unloaded on him. However, after nearly a dozen shots, Kazuya growled in annoyance, before charging down the Lightspeed Operative. Ryan's eyes widened, and he unleashed several shots at the cold-blooded son, however, Mishima dodged these shots and then retaliated by slamming his forearm into Ryan's neck. The resulting clothesline knocked the Ranger off his feet, allowing for Kazuya to then unleash a kick that sent Ryan further into the air, before Kazuya himself leaped up to meet the falling Ranger with a downward stomp to the chest, sending them both to the rain covered concrete. Ryan let loose a loud shout of pain as he felt his ribs strain against Kazuya's foot.

"Weakling..." Kazuya growled under his breath before unapologetically putting more weight onto Ryan's chest, making the Lightspeed Operative scream in pain. A small sadistic smile began to form on the Mishima Heir's face before preparing to finish Ryan off with a devil beam to the head.

"Allow me to end this..." He continued as Ryan's eyes widened with horror but with a burst of energy, he quickly grabbed onto Kazuya's leg before he could fire the devil beam. He proceeded to jerk his head to the side in order to avoid the scarlet red beam that signed the concrete before lifting Kazuya off of his body and into the air much to the martial artist's surprise. Ryan got right back up onto his feet before springing upwards, slamming a fist right underneath Kazuya's chin. This resulted in his body reaching even greater heights before landing right onto the hard rain-coated pavement.

"Oh, we're... not even getting started..." Managed the Ranger through deep breaths as he clutched his ribs. He then pulled down his sleeve to reveal a small object strapped to his wrist. It was a large blue 'M'.

"TITANIUM POWER!"

He then raised his fist into the air, before bringing it down and clicking a button on the M-shaped object strapped to his wrist.

Just then a silver glow surrounded Ryan. Said glow was bright enough to make Kazuya look away for a moment. The glow then faded quickly, and where the flash of light once was stood a new figure...

Kazuya stood up, glaring at his newly suited opponent with burning hate in his eyes while The Titanium Ranger entered into a combative pose, awaiting the Mishima Heir to make the first move.

“Let’s do this…” Ryan said under his breath while Kazuya clenched his fist before kneeling down a little. He proceeded to spring up into the air as an electric aura began to surround his very fist before attempting to slam it straight down into the Ranger’s face. Ryan was able to perfectly block the attack with his wrist before attacking with a punch to the gut that knocked his opponent back. However, instead of simply letting Kazuya strike the ground, The Titanium Ranger began to keep Kazuya airborne with series of punches that juggled the body of G-Corp’s CEO as if it were a ragdoll before Ryan leaped up and knocked his foe into pavement once more with a spinning kick.

The impact of Kazuya’s body striking the cement resulted in a spider-web of cracks to form on the surface as Ryan quickly retrieved his Titanium Laser before raising it over his head and swinging it down onto the downed martial artist. However, the blade struck nothing but concrete as Kazuya rolled right out of harm's way before slamming his fist right into Ryan’s face with an electric-charged punch that knocked him backward. The Mishima Heir proceeded to grab onto his coat and suit jacket before ripping it off, exposing his scarred upper half.

“Bastard, I’ll kill you for that!” Kazuya shouted, sprinting after his foe while Ryan scoffed in response.

"We'll just have to see about that!" Ryan said, before rushing down Kazuya, transforming his weapon back into his blaster mode as he did. He unleashed multiple laser blasts at Kazuya, who easily dodged them in his pissed-off state. However, once the two got into close range, Ryan switched his weapon back into its axe mode and began to swing at Kazuya, who was forced to dodge each attempted strike. However, Ryan was able to graze across Kazuya's chest as the Martial Artist let loose a loud yell of pain with a large gash opening up from his shoulder all the way down to his abdomen. Blood even splurted onto The Ranger's suit but it wasn't long before Kazuya retaliated with a series of fierce kicks and punches before knocking The Titanium Ranger backward with a roundhouse kick to the side of his body. Kazuya proceeded to launch a devil beam from his forehead, aimed directly for his opponent's chest. Rather than drilling a hole through his foe, however, Ryan quickly blocked off the beam with the axe's blade but that's not all, he then redirected the beam right into Kazuya's path forcing him to quickly maneuver himself out of harm's way.

"Nice try!" Ryan shouted before raising his axe into the air as it began to charge up with energy, upon which, he slammed it right onto the ground causing an electrical shockwave to bolt across the ground into his foe's path. Kazuya gave a deep shout of pain as the blast of electrical energy coursed through his veins, stunning him long enough for Ryan to perform a running kick, sending Kazuya flying close to the edge of the roof. The martial arts master grunted as he forced himself to his feet, with his skin smoking all the while. Even the cooling sensation of the raindrops didn't fully ease his stinging pain. Ryan, however, began to unleash more energy blasts at Kazuya, with one striking him in the shoulder, and another slamming into his leg, making it buckle and forcing the Mishima Heir to one knee.

The Titanium Ranger proceeded to leap up into the air, changing his blaster back into axe-form before swinging it in a downward slash. However, Kazuya took his suited foe by surprise by leaping right up, punching Ryan right underneath his cheek with an electrical-charged punch before sending him careening onto the pavement with a kick to the head. More cracks began to form on the cement ground as Mitchell’s body struck the ground with an audible ‘THUD’ followed by Kazuya landing right behind him. The Mishima Heir bent over and picked up Ryan by the back of his neck before kneeing him in the stomach, followed by a hard kick to the chest.

“DIE!” Kazuya shouted at the top of his lungs before firing another devil beam, this time the beam made its mark as it pierced The Ranger right in the stomach, forcing out a pained scream. The beam caused an explosion of sparks as it hit Ryan's stomach, and Kazuya kept up the beam for a few seconds, before it slacked off, revealing it left a scorch mark on the Ranger's suit. Kazuya then began stomping on the downed Ranger, causing the cracks beneath him to expand with each time the Mishima heir's boot contacted with his chest. Ryan grunted and groaned as Kazuya kept this up, before suddenly jumping into the air and stomping down on Ryan with both of his feet, which Kazuya had now electrically charged.

Ryan grunted as a shower of sparks exploded off of his suit, with the blow further expanding on the spider web of cracks that had already littered the rooftop. However, the stomping seemed to be over as Kazuya picked Ryan up by his neck and let loose a point-blank devil beam right to Ryan's face, launching him dozens of meters away. The Titanium Ranger remained still.

Kazuya just laughed as he looked at his downed foe.

"Not so tough now, are you?" The martial artist mused, walking over to the Lightspeed Operative's body. "Don't worry though, I'm sure your technology will suit my needs well."

However, as he got closer to the downed Ranger, Kazuya didn't seem to notice Ryan's hand tighten on the Titanium Laser. The moment Kazuya was no more than four or so feet from Ryan, the Ranger raised his weapon, before unleashing a blast of energy right in Kazuya's face.

Kazuya unleashed an ungodly scream of pain as he was bombarded with a blinding blue beam of energy that sent him flying across the rooftop. Ryan proceeded to pick himself back up before popping a shoulder back into his place before rushing forward, taking aim, and firing another laser blast.

Kazuya, still trying to recover from the sudden attack, acted fast by countering the laser blast with a devil beam resulting in a flash of both blue and red to light up the whole city along with a small-scale explosion. Ryan quickly flipped right over the explosion as the blaster transformed back into an axe but before he could make his move, Kazuy grabbed onto the Titanium Ranger's boot before viciously slamming him onto the pavement resulting in more damage inflicted onto the floor. The Martial Artist didn't stop there as he quickly lifted Ryan's body and tossed it in the air.

"I HAVE HAD IT UP TO HERE WITH YOU, PEST!" Kazuya shouted before unleashing a flurry of aggressive jabs and kicks that kept Mitchell's body airborne before unleashing a primal scream of rage as wings sprouted from his back and his skin took up a deep purple. He proceeded to grab Ryan by the face before taking off into the sky for a brief few seconds before sending him crashing into the floor beneath them, resulting in the ground giving way as the two fighters broke right through the cement ground.

The rooftop completely collapsed, resulting in the floor beneath it doing the same. From there, the two fighters smashed through floor after floor after floor as the weight of the previous floors added up. Thus, the building began to practically become hollow as the interior floors of it continued to collapse in on themselves. Ryan growled in pain with each collapse, and eventually, the two reached the bottom floor of the G-Corp HQ, with a massive pile of rubble being underneath them. The ground was uneven as Ryan rolled to his feet, grunting as he shook his dizziness away. The Titanium Ranger also realized the sudden change of forms Kazuya went through, piecing things together.

"So, this guy's a demon too huh? Great..." Ryan grumbled to himself before immediately realizing that his opponent was nowhere in sight which immediately put the ranger on edge. He darted back and forth, looking for his foe as he could attack at any given moment with little to no warning. Just then, Ryan heard the shuffling of feet approaching behind him from behind as the Lightspeed Operative sighed before readying his axe. He then spun around and immediately blocked a surprise downward heel kick from Kazuya with the handle of his axe before bouncing his foe backward. The two fighters would then sprint towards each other with Ryan attacking with an axe swing that forced Kazuya to side-step the attack before slamming his elbow right into the Ranger's mug.

Ryan's head jerked back, but as he fell, he swung wildly, which caused the head of his axe to leave a second deep gash on Kazuya's chest, making the Mishima Heir grunt in pain and stumble back, letting Ryan hit the ground and roll away, kicking up some dust as he did. Ryan then quickly got to his feet as he readied himself to continue fighting.

"EAT THIS!" Ryan shouted as he leaped forward, slamming a knee right into Kazuya's face, almost breaking the martial artist's nose as his body was launched right into a wall. With his opponent cornered, Ryan lifted his axe up into the air and slammed it onto the ground, sending an electric shockwave into The Mishima Heir's direction. Rather than letting the past repeat itself, Kazuya fought through the pain and quickly leaped right over the oncoming electrical wave before slamming a foot right into the ranger's face, resulting in a small crack to form against his helmet's visor. Ryan stumbled back as Kazuya landed right in front of him, striking him left and right with a series of aggressive jabs before sending him flying skywards with an electric-charged uppercut.

"Impotent runt!" Kazuya boomed as soon as he launched Ryan into the sky, but Mitchell wasn't going to be rag-dolled as he quickly trapped Kazuya by locking his thighs around his neck which kept the ranger from hitting the ground. That wasn't all, however, as Ryan proceeded to roll back and flip Kazuya right into a wall with enough force for him to break right through it, sending G-Corp's CEO flying into the streets and on the asphalt road.

BRAKKKK!

"We're not done yet!" Shouted Ryan, before rushing out through the hole in the wall. Kazuya managed to get himself into a sitting position and thus found himself surrounded by dozens of cop cars, and even several helicopters that all had their weapons trained on him. The martial artist growled in annoyance as he stood up.

"Kazuya Mishima put your hands in the air!" Demanded a man in a black jacket, that was similar to Ryan's, albeit with red highlights and a large "1" on his shoulder.

"Idiot, don't make me kill all of you as well!" Growled back Kazuya, however, before he could say anything else, a laser blast hit him in the chest, and he was launched back almost a dozen feet.

"Eyes on me, pal!" Ryan demanded as he transformed his weapon back into its axe mode. All the while he advanced towards the downed Mishima Heir. Kazuya furrowed his brows before rushing towards Mitchell as the Lightspeed Operative swung his axe in a sweeping motion, forcing Kazuya to quickly threw himself back to avoid having his stomach cut open. Ryan went in for another swing, only for Kazuya to grab a hold of his arm. Mitchell was then assaulted with a swift jab to the gut that nearly knocked the wind right out of his body. To make things even more painful, he launched Ryan into the air with another uppercut but right as he was about to strike the ground, Kazuya sent the ranger flying into a nearby police cruiser with a devil beam. The many police officers on the scene drew out their guns and aimed them at the Martial Artist.

"GET DOWN ON THE GROUND NOW!" One of the cops shouted at the top of their lungs while Kazuya gave out a quiet scoff.

"Foolish Pigs, Your idiocy knows no bounds..." Kazuya growled as he set his sights on a hovering helicopter as the red-eye opened up on his forehead. However, just as he was about to unleash a devil beam at the helicopter, Ryan saw the eye on Kazuya's forehead open and thus threw his axe at him. The Titanium Laser flew through the air and struck Kazuya. Luckily for the martial artist, instead of the blade end decapitating him, the hilt of the axe smashed him in the cheek, leaving a bruise and knocking off his aim, thus the resulting laser was harmlessly launched into space.

"Kazuya, you're dealing with me, and me only!" Ryan shouted. "Why waste your time with anyone else when you know I'm the only one here who can put you down?"

Upon hearing that little remark of his, Kazuya turned his head, hitting Ryan with a hateful glare. In response to interrupting his kill, Kazuya rushed forward and slammed his fist right into Ryan's cheek with a haymaker. The force of Kazuya's blow knocked the Titanium Ranger back, awkwardly stumbling before Kazuya unleashed a plethora of quick-paced jabs and kicks before finishing it off with a spinning kick straight in the face. Rather than falling onto the ground, Ryan managed to stop himself from hitting the pavement by flipping back onto his feet as he immediately came sprinting back at Kazuya.

"WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE!" Kazuya roared with rage, charging at Ryan at full speeds as he prepared for a haymaker to the face. However, Ryan was able to register the attack before it could transpire as he narrowly weaved around the approaching fist and retaliated with a punch of his own. Kazuya, also taking note of Ryan's strike, moved out of the way before promptly kneeing the ranger directly into the abdomen. Ryan let out a cry of pain before suddenly being jettisoned into the air by an electric upper-cut. Kazuya sprung himself into the air, readying his fist for a second blow beneath Mitchel's chin but his attack would never come to fruition as Ryan stopped the CEO's fist by grabbing onto his wrist.

"Not this time!" Ryan yelled before suddenly pulling Kauzya up to his torso as the Titanium Ranger proceeded to twist the martial artist's arm beneath his back. Kazuya forced out a grunt of discomfort before he suddenly felt Ryan's boot slam against his back, sending him careening into the concrete below. The Mishima landed torso-first against the hard ground, leaving behind a mosaic of cracks while Ryan tugged at his arm almost to a point of popping it out of its joint while applying more pressure to his upper spine.

"This is your final chance, Kazuya. Surrender. RIGHT NOW." Ryan demanded while Kazuya struggled to break free from his hold. Acting fast, Kazuya suddenly elbowed Ryan several times in the gut with each strike weakening the grasp on his arm. With one final jab to the gut, Ryan had no other choice but to let go as he stumbled back from the impact. Kazuya, immediately getting back onto his feet, dashed forward and struck the ranger as hard as he could with a flying kick to the torso. Ryan was sent tumbling across the cement while Kazuya grinned, slowly approaching his suited opponent.

"What was that you said before? Put me down?... How comical." Kazuya said, dusting himself off before cracking his neck. Ryan stood up, taking in several breaths of air before letting an enraged scream as he charged at his opponent.

"Let's see if you can 'put me down' once I reach heights far greater than anything your puny mind could handle!" Kazuya snarled as a dark purple aura began to surround him, an aura that caused Ryan to stop dead in his tracks...

The Mishima Heir's eyes began to turn blood red, his body slowly starting to levitate off the ground. Kazuya began to let out a horrific growl which turned into a terrifying scream that could be heard from miles as the surrounding officers immediately backed away from the scene. It wasn't long before Kazuya's body expelled a burst of purple energy that sent almost everyone and everything flying away, with Ryan being the only one standing before him. It was here that Kazuya had tapped into the Devil Gene's fullest potential with his physical form undergoing plenty of changes, almost looking like a demon that crawled out from the fiery pits of hell itself.

His skin was a deep shade of purple along with a set of ivory horns on his head, a set of large bat-like wings sprouted from his back, and a long tail that ended in a sharp tip.

Devil Kazuya had entered the battle.

However, despite most of the onlookers being knocked away, one managed to get up despite being covered in a few bruises, before he rushes over to Mitchell.

"Ryan!" Shouted the man in the red jacket, as he managed to rush over to the Titanium Ranger, mostly unaffected by the energy.

"Are you sure you can take this guy alone?" He asked.

"Of course I can, Carter, you attend to the injured." Said the Lightspeed Operative.

"Yes weakling, this fight is not yours," Kazuya said, causing Carter to chuckle.

"Alright, Ryan, just don't get yourself killed... And make sure to put your boot in his face for me." Carter said, before patting Ryan's back, and quickly rushing over to those who were still knocked over and recovering. With Carter tending to the injured both Ryan and Kazuya starred each other down as the now demonic martial artist lowered himself right onto the ground, crossing his arms while a small smirk formed on his features.

"I'll reduce you to nothingness by the time I'm finished with you, boy..." Devil Kazuya said with a sneer while Ryan put both his fists up once more.

"Don't count on it. I'm not letting you get off that easy, Demon!" Replied Mitchell right before leaping forward, performing a flying kick that was aiming right for the demon's face. Kazuya easily caught Ryan by the foot with his claws digging through the leather exterior before slamming Ryan's body right onto the pavement, leaving behind a man-sized crater. Devil Kazuya lifted a leg and attempted to crush The Ranger beneath his foot but Mitchell acted fast, rolling right out of the way as Kazuya's foot slammed into the crater. Ryan acted fast as he swung his axe right into the side of the demon, but his demonic opponent easily blocked the attack with his now-armored wrist as Ryan mounted an aggressive assault of swift swings of his axe from left to right. Suddenly, Ryan felt a gripping pain from his ankle as the demon's prehensile tail wrapped itself around the Titanium Ranger's boot. It wasn't long before Ryan was suddenly thrown back into the G-Corp Building, his body skidding across the ground before stepping himself by jabbing the blade of the titanium laser into the ground.

"Not... good." Ryan said in between breaths, bringing himself back up onto his feet before throwing himself to the side as the now-demonic Kazuya came zooming towards the Lightspeed Operative, who swung his claw at his opponent. Ryan managed to evade the attack as he rushed forward and delivered a diagonal slice across the devil's chest. Sparks flew as the axe's blade made contact with Devil Kazuya's chest, forcing out a snarl of pain before retaliating with a jab to the ribs. Ryan was forced back while his demonic adversary as Kazuya unleashed a barrage of quick-paced blows that forced Ryan to swiftly parry and block. emitted a beam from his forehead, however, rather than offing his adversary right then and there, Ryan merely tanked the attack much to Kazuya's chagrin.

"What?!" Kazuya said with shock before he was suddenly knocked to the ground with a leg sweep before being rocketed into the air with an electrified upper-cut from the Lightspeed Operative. The demon was then sent crashing into the ground with a downward slash from the Titanium Ranger's axe before swinging the weapon for a second time, aimed for the demon's shoulder blade.

"Good throw. That one almost got me." Ryan quipped while Kazuya furrowed his brow with rage while several orange eyes opened up, six of which were on the demon's wings while the one eye was located on his torso. All of them began to illuminate a bright purple glow that lit up the very perimeter. Acting fast, Ryan quickly transmogrified the Titanium Laser into its blaster mode and squeezed the trigger, sending a glimmering blue beam into the Devil's direction. All six of Kazuya's glowing orbs all fired into one singular purple energy torrent as both lasers simultaneously struck each other, a blinding flash of light overtaking the area along with an incredible shockwave that sent nearby patrol cars and SWAT vehicles flying into the air.

SH-BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!

From a safe distance, Carter along with several policemen and bystanders were forced to shield their eyes from the sudden flash that lit up the whole city. Returning to the fighters, Mitchell and Mishima were struggling to overpower the other as the beams pushed against one another in the intense clash. With a great output of energy, both beams ultimately canceled each other out, resulting in both fighters being blasted back into the walls. Ryan was the first to get up, letting out a groan of pain before immediately charging at the demon as fast as his legs could allow before slamming a knuckle straight into the demon's cheek, causing him to stagger back. Ryan didn't let up with the assault as he furiously jabbed and kicked Kazuya from his head to his torso before launching him back onto the streets with a summersault kick to the gut as Devil Kazuya dug his talons into the cement bellow to keep himself from careening back any further.

"Time to end this!" Ryan said, sprinting after the enormous demon before leaping right into the sky with the Titanium Laser held high into the air. The lavender demon growled with anger before snatching Ryan by the wrist with a tight grip, one that nearly snapped bone.

"ENOUGH OF THIS!" Kazuya roared before slamming Ryan into the ground with a hard chop to the shoulder, leaving behind a noticeable crater in the cement. The Devil wasn't finished with his suited foe, not by a long shot, as he reached down and grabbed Ryan by the neck with a tight grip as his claws embedded themselves into his flesh. Before the Titanium Ranger had a moment to scream in pain, The Mishima Heir spread his wings out and came soaring right towards the building before slamming Ryan back-first into the foundation. Kazuya proceeded to fly upward, painfully dragging Ryan along the building as shards of broken glass lodged themselves into his back. Ryan tried to break free from Kazuya's grasp as he latched onto the devil's arm only for Kazuya to pull him back and slam him into tower walls again, continuing towards the top.

Upon reaching the tower's apex, Kazuya launched Ryan high into the sky before propelling him further with a swift uppercut to the jaw. Kazuya zoomed towards Ryan, the eye on his forehead opening up before a devil beam came shooting out with its sights set on blowing a hole through. Ryan acted fast, reflecting the laser beam with the Titanium Laser's axe-head back to Kazuya in a swift motion. The winged demon acted fast and weaved around the deflected beam before nailing the Titanium Ranger right in the gut, knocking out all the air he had in his body as Ryan let out a pained wheeze. Kazuya then delivered a skull-rattling headbutt that resulted in both fighters being sent flying to greater heights in the sky.

Reaching beyond the clouds, Kazuya threw another blow only for Ryan to quickly weave right out of the demon's fist before clasping his hands together. He proceeded to slam them down onto Kazuya's face as hard as he could but the lavender demon merely shrugged off the attack and retaliated by grabbing Ryan by the head. He proceeded to reel his hand back before chucking Mitchell into the ground below. However, Ryan had no intention of plummeting to his death as he drew out the titanium laser and swung it straight into Kazuya's abdomen to stop himself from falling. The devil roared with pain while Ryan sprung himself upward and delivered a knee to the face that broke the demon's nose.

"GRAUGH! ENOUGH OF THIS PITIFUL STRUGGLE!" The Devil roared before suddenly snatching Ryan by the neck, taking to the stratosphere as fast as his wings could allow him. The rainy clouds hovering above disperse from the speeds that the demon was moving at. Faster and faster, Kazuya had moved far past the clouds while the Lightspeed Operative was still in his sharp grasps. Soon, the two fighters would find themselves floating in orbit. Hovering in the stratosphere, Ryan struggled for air while Kazuya firmly clenched his neck as hard as he could. He starred at The Lightspeed Operative with a maniacal smirk, hoping to drop the lightspeed operative to his demise.

"It's people like you that are so easy to crush. People who are unwilling to give up and try to be the hero, blinded by their own 'bravery' only to die horribly at my hands. Tell little ranger, what are your last words before I end this pitiful struggle of yours?..." Kazuya said, squeezing onto Ryan's neck as hard as he could. Despite being high up into orbit and being depleted of his air by the hands of his demonic foe, Ryan was able to manage a response to the devil.

"You're right about one thing, Kazuya...." Ryan said, suddenly drawing out the Titanium Laser with its barrel pointed directly at the demon's abdomen. The demon's sadistic smile disappeared, replaced with a horrified grimace while behind his cracked visor, Ryan hit Kazuya with a fiery glare.

"I'm never giving up."

With one swift chop, Kazuya unleashed a horrific scream of pain as the axe sliced his forearm right off of his body like a hot knife through butter. Upon severing the demon's arm from his body, Ryan felt the grip of Kazuya's arm finally weaken as he proceeded to tackle himself right into the enormous lavender demon, causing both fighters to plummet back into orbit. As the two started making their rapid descension towards, Ryan began to furiously wail on Kazuya with a series of aggressive jabs to the face and torso. Kazuya, in an effort to stop his foe, fired a devil beam from his forehead eye which was aimed for the Lightspeed Operative's forehead.

With a display of inhuman reflexes, Ryan bobbed his head right out of the laser's projectile before striking Kazuya in the torso with a two-legged kick, sending the winged demon further into orbit. Heat began to generate from their bodies and if one were to look up into the sky, the two would be mistaken for meteors that were about to crash into Earth. Kazuya, acting fast, shot his tail outwards and snagged Ryan by the ankle. The Titanium Ranger was then forcibly dragged into the devil's arms, ensnared in a tight embrace that was similar to a boa constrictor wrapping its coils around its prey.

"One of us will die on this day and it won't be me!" Devil Kazuya growled diving towards the earth at high speeds while Ryan struggled to break free from the demon's grasp. Ryan thrashed and kicked around before he smashed the back of his head right into Kazuya's forehead, slightly weakening the demon's grasp. It was all Ryan needed to freely punch his way out from the devil's grasp before elbowing him right in the face. Ryan pushed himself several feet away from the devil, who was now enraged this foe had escaped. The demon spun towards his adversary in mid-air, attempting to skewer him but Ryan was more than ready for this attack. As soon as Kazuya got close enough, Ryan jerked himself upward and readied his axe.

SLASH!

With a fluid swing of the Titanium Laser, Kazuya's left wing was severed completely as the demon cried with agony as he plunged further down towards the planet while the flames around him were beginning to engulf his entire body. Ryan was not yet finished with his foe as he glared down at the demon, knowing that it was time to finally end this grueling battle.

"It's all over for you, Mishima!" Ryan shouted, springing himself forward while reeling the Titanium Laser back for one final, tremendous swing.

"DIE, YOU MISERABLE VERMIN!" Kazuya roared with malice, hurling himself at the Lightspeed Operative with his singular arm extended outward. As the two meet each other, time itself seemed to have slowed down with both fighters swinging at each other in a final

One missed, the other didn't.

SWIIIIIIIIIISHHHHHHHH...

Kazuya's eyes widened with horror while a splatter of blood was expectorated out of his mouth. Ryan's axe had cleanly sliced through the demon's midsection, successfully chopping him into two halves. The Lightspeed Operative blitzed past the winged demon before turning his head to face Kazuya one final time.

"Show's over, Kazuya. You won't be starting another war anytime soon." Ryan said while Kazuya uttered one final sentence before his inevitable demise.

"D-DAMN YOU... DAMN YOU, RANGERRRAAUUUUUU-"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The two halves of Kazuya exploded in a gigantic inferno, the flames swallowing both parts of his body. Ryan looked away from the massive explosion and continued to plummet back down, beneath his helmet's shattered visor was a victorious smirk. The Titanium Ranger continued to fall towards the earth, successful in neutralizing his target.

Kazuya Mishima was dead.

(Music Stops)

"Captain Mitchell, do you come in?" Carter spoke into a wrist-mounted device, the voice of a middle-aged man buzzing from the other side.

"Loud and clear, Carter. Can tell me what's going on right now?" Grayson's Superior asked.

"We've evacuated as many people as we could, still haven't found a sign of Ryan or Mishima however," Carter replied, Captain Mitchell, pausing for a brief moment.

"I see... Well, do the best you can in finding them, make sure Ryan is okay." Mitchell responded with clear worry that could be heard in his voice.

"Don't worry, we'll do what we ca-" Suddenly, The Lightspeed Operative was unable to finish his reply as something from just several yards away crashed into the pavement.

BOOOOOOM!

Grayson was caught completely off guard from the sudden crash as he turned his head to where had heard it, while Captain Mitchell called out to Carter for he too had heard the noise through the speakers.

"Carter! Carter, do you read!?" Mitchell's voice buzzed, snapping Grayson out of his daze before replying almost immediately.

"I do, sir! Something crashed just not too far from where I'm standing. I'm checking it out right now." The Lightspeed Operative said to his superior.

"Be careful out there..." Captain Mitchell replied while Grayson sprinted as fast as he could to where the crash had taken place. In the span of several minutes, Grayson found himself standing before a moderately-sized crater. While he was unsure of what could be laying in the crater, Grayson had no intention of running away as he awaited whatever could be in there. It wasn't long before a hand reached out

"Hey, who's in there!?" Carter demanded, holding onto Rescue Morpher in case of a potential battle. The smoke started to clear, giving Grayson a better look at who was in the crater as his fear and anticipation faded away. Pulling himself out of the crater was Ryan, his suit tattered and torn from the battle while a crack ran across his visor. Even in such a disheveled state, Mitchell craned his neck up to Carter and gave him a thumbs up.

"Mission Accomplished."

Aftermath Screen:

Ryan is quickly hauled off into a hospital after his grueling battle against Kazuya while Firefighters rush to the scene to put out the burning remains of G-Corp Headquarters, its CEO nowhere to be found.

__

UL: Hey, at least this time, Kazuya didn't die from getting dropped into the umpteenth volcano!

Mettaton: I'm pretty sure getting chopped in half and then exploding into nothingness is still a painful way to go if you ask me, personally. But hey, it gives the audience some good violence, that's for sure!~

UL: Kazuya was certainly a formidable fighter and it most certainly shows. He has been in the fighting scene way long than Ryan has, considering he had dedicated his whole entire life to martial arts and has cleared through some of the Tekken Roster's toughest fighters out there. Ranging from the likes of Raven, Jin, and Heihachi. There was also the possibility that given his circumstances, he could potentially beat Ryan unmorphed. However, once Ryan became The Titanium Ranger, Kazuya's chances of winning became slim.

Mettaton: The best feat that Kazuya had in store was being able to fight on par with his father, Heihachi, who was able to take on the Jack-6, an android that was able to destroy a gigantic meteor that clocked in at about Multi-Continental. Sounds impressive, yes? But, Ryan is comparable to The Megaforce Rangers, who have battled against the likes of Vrak, who caused a solar eclipse. The Megaforce Rangers are considered to be the weakest variant so it would be likely that Ryan should be on par if not surpass them!~

UL: Speed was also pretty clear-cut as well. Kazuya scales to his son and father, with Jin able to fly from Earth into orbit in mere seconds while Heihachi is able to dodge devil beams which are also capable of traveling into orbit. Seems impressive, right? But then, you take a look at the speed feats Ryan scales to such as Lord Zedd's magic traveling from Earth to the moon in seconds and Andros flying on the galaxy glider, which is capable of traveling at faster than light speeds. As you can see, it's pretty obvious who has the speed advantage.

Mettaton: Durability was also something Ryan easily had the advantage in. What's that? Kazuya survived a satellite-laser blast that leveled a large tower? That's cute. Ryan has survived blows from monsters that have enough power to level islands and even planets! And it wasn't just stats that gave Ryan the win here, it was also the fact that he had a weapon, a really damn good one at that. The Titanium Laser not only provided melee combat but also range as well, allowing Ryan to counter Kazuya's devil beams!~

UL: Now, some could argue that Devil Kazuya should've been a huge game-changer in this fight and that is true in some regard. Kazuya's devil form allowed him to fly to keep out of Ryan's range but that's all that it really brought to the table as Ryan duked it out with many demons in the past so something like Devil Kazuya isn't anything new to him.

Mettaton: Kazuya was a fearsome foe and he did have the feats to back it up but unfortunately, he was trounced in strength, speed, durability, weaponry, and his devil form ultimately couldn't turn the tables on the Titanium Ranger.

UL: In the end, Ryan was the one AXING the questions here!

Mettaton: The victor of this match-up is, Ryan Mitchell!

THE WINNER IS RYAN MITCHELL!

Ryan Mitchell (WINNER):

+Far faster

+Stronger

+Tougher

+Arsenal advantage via Titanium Laser, providing both melee and range

+Retains the physicality advantage against Devil Kazuya

-Not as experienced

-Outmatched when unmorphed

-Inferior combat skills

-Unable to fly

Kazuya Mishima (LOSER):

+Could likely take on Ryan when unmorphed

+Much more experienced

+Superior martial arts skill

+Flight is a big help

-Lacks an actual weapon

-Less durable

-Weaker

-Slower

-Even with Devil form, is outmatched

Quite a tense battle, with an outcome I wasn't expecting. Action was very gripping and had a lot of moments where they both got to shine, the dialogue bounced off each other nicely, and I like how Ryan actually started the fight in his base before going Ranger. Added a neat dynamic you don't see too often in these Ranger fights. Also the dynamic of Kazuya's seriousness playing off some of that Power Ranger cheese added to the fun. All in all, solid fight, and looking forward to the next time.
